Ages 3 and 4 years
All children are eligible for 15 hours a week of free nursery education starting from the term after their third birthday. This is part of the Government's early education funding scheme, also known as the Early Education Entitlement. In addition, if you qualify for 30 hours childcare, please contact the school office on 0208 397 3864.

Children who turn three between:
- 1 April and 31 August are eligible from the autumn term starting in September
- 1 September and 31 December are eligible from the spring term starting in January
- 1 January and 31 March are eligible from the summer term starting in April

2 year olds
Some two-year-olds are entitled to 15 hours of free early education and childcare. Admissions for 2-year-olds are made through Kingston Council, please click here for further information.
As part of the 15 hours entitlement Ellingham offers two separate daily sessions.

The morning session in the 3-year-old provision starts.
Morning children go home unless staying for lunch, this is only for the 3-year-old provision. Children from the 2-year-old provision do not currently attend Lunch Club
11.30am — 12.15pm
Lunch club sessions for some AM and PM children. (Each session costs £3.75 per child per day.)
The afternoon session for the 2-year-old and the 3-year-old provision starts.
Afternoon children go home and are collected promptly.
Parents who are eligible for 30 hours (15 additional hours of care) as well as parents who wish to pay for additional hours care can apply for a full time place for their child.
