The Governing Body has four main targets:

Strategic Role: Contribute to School Improvement

Critical Friend: Monitor and Evaluate the school's performance

Ensuring accountability: Ensuring communication between parents, teachers, children, governors and other stakeholders.

Working practices: Self Review of Governing Body to ensure effective working practice.
The Governing Body consists of 12 governors, who attend around six full Governing Body meetings a year, although the governors do also attend further meetings; each governor works as a link governor, liaising with teaching staff to discuss curriculum subjects and in addition to this governors from working parties with particular responsibilities, See table below for more details:
