"Strong roots for flourishing futures"

Ellingham Primary is a one-form entry school for pupils aged 3 – 11 years (including a 26 place part time Nursery.)

We are a popular and inclusive school; committed to supporting the individual and, as such, places are regularly in demand.

The Authority has identified us as a school demonstrating 'best practice' in Caring, Guiding and Supporting.

A characteristic of Ellingham, of which we are particularly proud, is the close links with parents and carers. We have, for instance, developed partnership working with the introduction of parenting workshops, steering groups, parent class representatives, 'drop-in' sessions and Family Learning.

We continue to strive for excellence by working towards and achieving a number of nationally recognised awards. We have been recognised as an 'outstanding' school for the provision of extra-curricular activities.

Please read our school brochure or contact us on the link above for more information about our school.

Children's vision statement

At Ellingham we believe that all children require a variety of learning styles to achieve the best of their ability.

Healthy

We want to have a healthy appetite for life. With a healthy body and mind we can achieve anything.

Safety

We want to be given the skills to stay safe. We learn best when we have no fears or worries and everybody understand the safety rules of the school.

Achieve Economic Wellbeing

We want Ellingham to give us the skills to be independent, confident and a round education to meet the challenges of the world outside.

Enjoy and Achieve

We want education to come alive. We love it when learning is fun, interesting and we are fully involved. We all want to be able to achieve our own individual goals.

Positive contribution

We want to find out about our local community and the part we play in it. We enjoy sharing what we do in school with people in the locality and we welcome visitors and speakers.
